Honors ELA
- Scaled score of 626 or above as shown by the iReady Reading Diagnostic
- 95% or higher average grade in the ELA course
Honors Science
- 95% or higher average
- Scaled score of 626 or above as shown by the iReady Reading Diagnostic
Honors Social Studies
- 95% or higher average
- Scaled score of 626 or above as shown by the iReady Reading Diagnostic

Process for Appealing Course Placement
Parents/guardians of students entering 7th Grade should:

Until the end of the school year, contact their child’s teacher(s) or Skyview administration with questions about academic scores and placement criteria
- After June 12, contact Kathy Sicilia at ksicilia@methacton.org or (610) 489-5000 ext. 30213 to register for appeals testing
Prior to the testing date, parents/guardians will be contacted with information about completing appeals testing.
Within one week of the appeals test, parents/guardians will be contacted with the results of the assessment(s).
