Today, nearly 70 Methacton High School juniors and seniors visited Skyview Upper Elementary and Arcola Intermediate to kick off this year's Community Cares program!

Developed in partnership with Mission Kids and PA Representative Joe Webster’s Office, Community Cares empowers upperclassmen to mentor 6th and 7th graders through engaging, peer-led discussions. Our high school leaders are guided by Mrs. Michaela Zelli (Methacton's Belonging and Climate Facilitator) alongside partner organizations like Variety Club, Mission Kids, and Creative Health. Together, they’ll cover vital life skills, including mental health and emotional well-being, online safety, executive functioning, and resilience.

Kickoff day was all about breaking the ice, making connections, and building trust. We can't wait for October, when our student mentors lead their first official session on Team Building!
