Skyview held its annual Community Service Day on Friday, December 19, continuing a long-standing tradition that dates back to the first few years of the school's existence.
Throughout the month of December, each of the Skyview teams collected donations for a local community organization. Students gathered everything from gently used books for Reach Out and Read to non-perishable food items for Daily Bread Food Pantry. They even supported a local dog rescue by donating kibble and dog treats! Representatives from each of the organizations visited Skyview to speak to the students about their work. The Community Service Day culminated with students making holiday cards for the residents of Meadowood.
We are so proud of the students for taking part in Community Service Day, and so grateful for the staff for instilling the important values of service and kindness in our young people.
